J.P. Biondo plays the Prohibition Songbook

A renownedvocalist/mandolin player in the experimental bluegrass band Cabinet, Biondo currently travels the country, playing with a variety of duos and bands. He’s performed at large scale festivals and historic theaters such as The Capitol Theater in Port Chester, N.Y., The Tower Theater in Upper Darby, and The Bluebird Theater in Denver, Colorado. Throughout his extensive travels, music from the 1930’s and ‘40s began to find its way into his own music. This Wednesday night, he’ll share those Great American Songbook favorites that inspired him.
